American duo to bolster Canterbury United in national league Sacramento natives, goalkeeper Kris Schultz and striker Matt Wiesenfarth, who both attended University of California, Davis, arrive next month to link up with the Dragons. Schultz will challenge Cashmere Technical's Danny Knight for the starting goalkeeping berth as Canterbury look to fill the void of last year's No 1 Coey Turipa, who is playing for national league new boys, Tasman United. His UCD bio: http://www.ucdavisaggies.com/sports/m-soccer/mtt/kris_schultz_771251.html He and Wiesenfarth are cousins. Canterbury United is in NZ's top tier.
He's moved to Australia now: http://www.everybodysoccer.com/even...erican-goalkeeper-playing-overseas-down-under I am playing for the South Adelaide Panthers. The club here is also very professional and I enjoy it thus far. I am living in Adelaide which is in South Australia and all I can say is that it’s beautiful. I can go to beach before training, snorkel on off days, and go fishing in the ocean. It’s pretty much paradise. I can describe it as being like southern California, but without pollution or over population. It’s really clean here and everyone is very pleasant. The team is in the National Premier Leagues South Australia, which is part of the Australian 2nd tier.
