This is why Saudi Pro League, UAE League, and Qatar Stars League should be the highest aspirations for Korean players. You get respectable salary and a chance to be a local hero for passionate supporters. Unless one is good enough to get lucrative offers from Europe (top league Europe) I think West Asia is a good place to ply your trade. At least for the time being they have what the K-league doesn't provide.
OFFICIAL | Al Shabab have confirm that Park Chu-young’s contract with the club has been terminated by mutual agreement.— Korea Football News (@KORFootballNews) February 6, 2015
Ohh really? Well i dont keep track of players ages but feels like hes been playing the game for whole awhile and he certainly moves like a 33 year old
Park should try to join Saudi club Al Hilal. I heard their strikers got injured and have one foreign player slot left. Perhaps Al Hilal is where Korean players can revitalize their careers. Al Hilal= Oasis
Oh yeah nvm. Park should just go to China league 1 or K-league challenge. Jokes aside, I think his chance of plying his trade at a high-level league at this stage of his career is slim (to understate). I mentioned before about reading an article about Park's coaches' views on this player. Cho Kwang Rae said that Park just doesn't have the motivation of an athlete. Content and not willing to adapt nor improve.
Kim Jung-Woo, aka Skeletor, plays for the UAE club Bani Yas. I wondered where he disappeared into. Made this lovely assist to Asamoah Gyan with his head last season. Watch from 2:20 mark. Better angle on his assist starts at 3:00 mark. Glad he's lighting up the Gulf league. *Videos do not belong to me Btw, anyone know if foreign females can spectate football in UAE? Because I think there is a group of Koreans watching Al Ain match in this video at around 0:16 mark. There is a lady. Probably fan/relative of Lee Myung Joo. Lol at the Korean(?) guy wearing thawb.
Former Steleers man, Jin Ho Sin scored his first goal for his new club, Emirates Club RAK and what a wonder was...
