Best debut since Pablo Aimar vs Man United in 2001:cool:

The game was bad af, most of the players were already tired after a couple of runs lol, and because the rival was a 2nd tier Swiss team, they were like whatever most of the time

Great debut by Kangin, basically the only one who tried to create something, had a couple of chances, a couple of good almost-assists, all of this in a little over 20 minutes.

Also he is in very good shape phisically, now he will be controlled by the 1st team nutritionists, so he is going to get better and better. We'll see if he gets minutes vs PSV-Leicester-Everton-Leverkusen, in those games there will be fewer subs and it will be difficult, but I'm confident.

Anyways, a good day for Kangin and also he is the first Asian player to wear Valencia's shirt, so he is already in the history book of the club, congrats to him!

Also a funny Kangin saying that he couldn't read the congratulations messages because he doesn't have internet lol

Does he not have a phone!? I thought phone plans worked like at home country anywhere in EU+Switzerland now and certainly the type of plan for a kid just signing a big first team-pay deal.

Normally, it should be no problem. And no way he doesn't have a phone. Maybe his parents are conservative and said no to roaming for whatever reasons? o_O

In Valencia the fans are pumped up, especially the ones that know him and know his talent, there are others that say that he will take us to glory again, but that's pre-season banter lol

I think it's because they were where they played and he didn't have wifi or something. Or maybe he didn't activate the roaming or the internet rate or something idk lol

I am imagining little kid LKI blowing through a cellphone bill in an early tournament with roaming. The EU/Swiss roaming change last year was great and like I said, I think he can afford roaming now even if that rule didn't exist :)

I find it hilarious that Kangin keeps repeating "estoy muy contento" (i'm very happy) in every sentence. I reckon that it's because he's nervous as fck giving an interview at this point.

Can't wait to see him play at the Mestalla.

Physically he's better than expected but he still has some adjusting to do. But he's a very professional player for someone that hasn't played pro yet.

Seems like his feints aren't as effective as when he plays more junior opposition. However, he looks very promising. Happy to see him getting minutes at the senior level

Dribble earns a foul. Nifty touch to get teammate deep too.

Valencia did not play well, especially in the second half. None of their final thirds were working. Lee came on late (around '70 I think) and played LW. He did okay when he had possession but didn't have a lot of chances since the ball was rarely on his end.
Whoever played the bald guy on the RW side for Valencia should've been dropped sooner. Kept losing the ball and cutting momentum.

    Leicister did well. Threatening throughout.

I switched from a boring second half of FCA vs Newcastle to Everton vs Valencia and Lee is playing!
