https://www.hankookilbo.com/News/Read/201907011778786989 Better late than never: last year, former KNT defender Kim Dong Jin retired from professional football. He played club football in many countries including Russia, China, and Thailand. He hung his boots after a long career, last club being Kitchee of Hong Kong. Nice gesture from his teammates, opponents (Man City), and supporters as he bows out one last time. In his retirement press conference, he encourages young Korean players to pursue European football. Even at the risk of a sub-par European venture, it is worth it he thinks, as one can learn a thing or two playing in Europe. KDJ thinks it's okay for near-retiring players to try Chinese or ASEAN football, where money flows well and passion for football high, but youngsters should aim for Europe. He thanked his wife, Cho Kwang Rae, and Dick Advocaat.
yes I do. I make fun of newbs at gym. I also carry around big water jugs and wear those tank tops with big holes for my arm so that my abs are showing.
Old news, but KFA has initiated a plan to build a new national football centre at the city of Cheonan. Scheduled to be completed at 2024. KFA will move their offices to the new centre as well. Apparently it will be about 4 times larger than the current facility at Paju. A stadium, museum, etc. will be included. Costs around $130 million.
