    it's called '정'. :ROFLMAO:

If KFA was planning to keep Stielike on their payroll, they should have just "demoted" him to "Youth Director" role.

Give him a break. This team has always been difficult to coach and he just didn't quite grasp the situation of Korean football. The entire roster probably looked so incompetent that he maybe had difficulty choosing which players to use or thought it wouldn't make a difference. On top of that, although it happened a while ago, I heard his family problems had struck him really hard and I wouldn't be surprised if he is still affected a lot by them.

And maybe he's still there because he likes or enjoys Korea that much? ( which is at least one positive take away from all the bad news about the country. )

He was paid $750K per year. ($3 million in 4 year contract)

Don't feel pity and Lee Yong-soo should move to Germany with him.

if eligible, I'd also naturalize Santos (Suwon BW), Lopez (Jeonbuk), and Osmar (FC Seoul).

Should be called up in Brazil national team, he would be still more useful than Fred was and Brazil already select 3 CSL players, so why not picking a k-league player ?

It would be nice if a country actually good at football calls up a player from K-league lol

we either need to willing/capable of paying ridiculous amounts to attract a NT-level player (of top football nations) or be respected enough (of our league and overall football prowess) for that to happen.

no offense to Jonathan, but wasn't Fred a prolific forward in the Brazilian leagues? If Jonathan was the same, a K2 would not have been able to sign him.

There are tons of prolific Brazilian strikers playing in leagues all around the world. He is just one of many.

Yeah sure meanwhile Johnathan had been a pure fail in Brasilian League. But given that he's at the moment in great form and confident, why not testing him, even for only one friendly game ? Speaking of that, makes me things nation like Brazil, France or Argentina have such a talent pool through the world, that's crazy. Players like Johnathan, Leonardo would make happy so many national teams.

True. Maybe I am too focused on K League

Edit : I would add that brazil strikers who are called up are not major players: Diego Souza, 32 years old, 15 goals since 2016 and Dudu, 16 goals since 2016 too in Brazilian league.
The two others are Neymar and Firmino but they are not kind of number 9 players.

I would be delighted to see him play for Brazil, but that country already has uncapped players in top European teams (AFAIK). I reckon Jonathan isn't exactly near the front of the line when it comes to uncapped players.

Because Brazilian Serie A is far better than K-League. Don't forget Jonathan struggled to even find a place on the bench in Brazilian Serie A, whereas Diego Souza and Dudu are one of the better players in the league.

Does KNT call up players from Thai Premier League?

You're not wrong. Brazilian is better than K-League and Johnathan was barely a bench warner. But that's was the past, now he scores one goal per match and the others brazilian strikers are far from being an unquestionnable choice for the brazilian team. I am not necessarly saying he is better than them but I just say he could be selected for once, then the brazilian coach will decide whether or not he will make the squad. That's not an award or something like that, but maybe he could be an useful option for Brazil.

KNT used to call up J2 League player ( Kim Bo Kyung and Kim Min Woo for instance), korea university players (Cha Du Ri, Park Ji Sung) and recently called up K League challenge player (Lee Jeong Hyeop, Hwang Ui Jo), so if there is a korean player who scores one goal per match, warm me.

Lol, and do we call up players if they are playing well in Thailand? What about Hong Kong?

There were so many other Brazilian players in menial leagues scoring freely:

    Fabio Lima - 25 goals + 7 assists in 26 appearances for Al-Wasl
Vagner Love - 23 goals + 3 assists in 28 appearances for Alanyaspor
Jaja Coelho - 16 goals + 10 assists in 23 appearances for Buriram
    Diogo - 16 goals + 8 assists in 19 appearances for Buriram

    Etc.....

They don't have time to bother with players playing for third-tier leagues when they have hundreds playing in the top leagues.
