1. Iran (Rank 30) 2. Korea (Rank 37) 3. Japan (Rank 45) 4. Australia (Rank 48) 5. Saudi Arabia (Rank 56) 6. Uzbekistan (Rank 62) It's only a matter of time before we start dropping points next year.
Well, think of the games played in the post WC 2002 - 2010 era, where the team appeared to play well sometimes but couldn't win. Looking at the recent Asian Cup, maybe this team with the current coach will be the inverse, where they win games that matter even though there are holes in their performance. In spite of all the complaints here, maybe the team is on route to qualify for the WC as 1st or 2nd place and maybe they'll even get out of group stage in '18. Besides, just because a team plays well does not guarantee or entitle them to win. And sometimes a superior team can be very unlucky so you never know.
"David Villa launches football academy in South Korea" http://english.yonhapnews.co.kr/news/2016/12/13/0200000000AEN20161213005100315.html
"I heard about a young South Korean footballer at my football academy in Valencia and I got interested in South Korea," he said. "I'm sure there are lots of young talented footballers here." Yeahhhhhhhhhhhh
Not that it matters but we're going into this year ranked 37. Also, I just thought of something. If K-pop stars debut and sign pro contract as young as 15, why can't Korean players do the same? Isn't there a law that ban minor k-pop stars??? http://www.sbs.com.au/popasia/blog/2016/06/16/10-youngest-ever-k-pop-idol-debuts
Meh, Elo can't do nothing when it comes to FIFA competition. I also don't find them better than FIFA as well because from my opinion they tend to overrate Asian teams but underrate African teams.
Oh man I forgot to post this. This is another example of Stielike's stupidity. So for his picks for the FIFA best players: 818591222759452673 is not a valid tweet id LIKE SERIOUSLY BALE??? GRIEZMAN OVER RONALDO???

King Pelé giving his views about Korean team after the poland's match in 2002 : Btw, I recommend you to watch this channel, there are plenty of Korea's matches (full match)
I also would like to give my views on THAT korean team, but i don't think it's a good idea...sure not in this forum. how do you say "cheaters" in Korean?
In the group stages, not really. In the knockouts against Italy and Spain, sure there were very questionable decisions from the referees and linesmen but you can't blame that on the team.
