Korean U20 beat China 2:0 in the U20 Asian Youth Championship final.

More importantly, this is a tournament that confirmed emergence of a true young striker Park Choo Young [sp]. He scores 8 goals in the tournament and was voted tournament MVP. I hope he continue improving his goal scoring skills and become the centerpiece of Korean National team that currently has no super forward. No more scoring goals by committee by average forwards please. Let's hope Park can finally be the "one." :D

Bonfrere needs to add Park to the senior team NOW!!!!!!!

So far, he looks like a complete striker. Good finishing skills, ability to create, good dribble and something that all our strikers are missing - a killer instinct.

I hope some European scouts took notice of him and he'll become that killer we've been looking for a while.

At first when we lost to Iraq 3-0 or something...I never though we would win this sh1t...but yeah!! Korea rules!!! I think we have great future!! :D

EDIT: Park should attract some European Club though He should first see how he do in K-League.

They should put Park on the NT for 2006. He's gonna be 22 or so by then?

People, don't get too excited about Park scoring against China. He needs to score against tough/strong defense to prove his worth. No offense to the Chinese defenders but i'd like to see him do that against the likes of Jaap Stam or Sol Campbell.

If he can get past Vincent Kompany that's good enough for me!

That's what they should look like after a hard fought win. The look like soccer player enjoying a tournament win to me.

Check out a halo on one of the guys. :D

Koreans and damn gay tshirts. The matching t's remind me of the gay "couple shirts" honeymooners wear in Jeju island.

What the hell though. Poor bastards. How pretty would you be if you sweated out all your childhood running around under the hot korean sun on dirt korean pitches getting beat by your coaches, etc..

Good to see them enjoying their win.
