Not the biggest fan of calling up guys like Palomino and Llanez that are in preseason with MLS clubs, but, ya gotta be proactive with dual nationals so I suppose it’s understandable to not leave that door open for Mexico
This hype train is scheduled to leave right on time and I would like an espresso and a croissant and a newspaper please. And a window seat.
Konrad had 2 goals, 3 assists, and a cross that forced an own goal as Juvenil B won in an 8-0 romp. 📝 La crònica del Juvenil B-Josep Maria Gené 🔴🔵 #FCBMasia https://t.co/cdvkErVhlK— FC Barcelona - Masia (@FCBmasia) February 4, 2018
I would be extremely surprised if he wasn’t. Konrad and Nils Mortimer are the class of this team. There is a very small chance they might be promoted this season if they clinch their respective league early.

Konrad de la Fuente (@konradjr #11) vs Josep Maria Gené. Liga Nacional Juvenil (04.02.2018). #FCBMasiaKonrad de la Fuente is the one to watch this season. Almost every goal went through his feet yesterday. Exceptional. pic.twitter.com/1acDbFvLte— ■neurophate (@neurophate_) February 5, 2018 Credit to @zlebmada

Konrad de la Fuente is really good and is probably the best player in the pipeline people aren’t talking about enough. https://t.co/uRgHKMkq6w— Will Parchman (@WillParchman) February 10, 2018
I was actually thinking “you’re the one not talking about him, we’ve been talking about him for a long time” haha
I know right. Some journalists confuse fandom with journalistic analysis or inside talent analysis. De La Fuente is really talented but fan hype or headlines doesn't help in that talent.

A brief cameo by Konrad with a nice cross..
From my understanding this isn't a Fifa sanctioned team. Just a fun thing they like to do with players based in that region.
That's true but what I got from it was that the tweeter was just saying that he doesn't get enought attention. People are on X, Y or Z hype train but what about the Kondrad blue line? We ride! Of course getting excited about a prospect won't make anyone better but that goes without saying. We get excited and overhype guys we are excited about because it's fun. There doesn't need to be a good reason.
The reason is because at some point, the guy you hype is going to turn out to be everything you hyped him to be
For the most part, I love Parchman’s work (or opinions, now that he’s not a soccer writer). But he tweets about kids like Carleton and Sargent, which is fine, but doesn’t seem to say much about certain guys for one reason or another.
