He scored the fifth goal in a 5-0 win, a couple of minutes from full time. The Cadete B is on quite a roll, and the squad is stacked. For those that are interested, some of the names that come up as being especially promising are Anssumane Fati and Nicolás González, both '02s. Nicolas is the son of Fran, for those who remember the great Deportivo sides around 2000. Anssu's brother plays for the Juvenil A squad. Of the '01s (like Konrad), the names you hear the most about are Eric Garcia (central defense), Iván Bravo (left back), and Adria Bernabé (midfield). This isn't including players like Take Kubo and Guille Amor who had to leave la Masia due to the FIFA rulings. Take in particular I recall being very highly thought of.

No, it was just Pablo Moreno -- who scored 70 goals last season -- who was moved directly from Infantil A to Cadete A. Konrad played with Cadete B last year (https://www.fcbarcelona.es/futbol/formativo-masculino/ficha/fc-barcelona-cadet-b-2015-2016)

Incidentally, the Cadete A is playing in the Torcaf tournament right now, just beat Atletico 3-0, and Moreno keeps scoring, he had a brace and Ansu had the other. They play Villarreal tomorrow.

Barça Cadete A beat L'Hospitalet 4 - 1. Results and details are hard to come by but Konrad assisted on the third goal.

I love where this clip freezes at the end. There are some great WTF reactions from the onlookers and an apposing defender,

By the way, Konrad is Cadete A (i know you weren't the one to tweet it.

Hat tip to @ussoccer97531 for reporting this in the YNT forum.

Konrad made the Sport.es Masia team of the week.

    snip:

Konrad de la Fuente (Cadete A): Gran protagonista de la victoria del Cadete A. El estadounidense marcó tres goles y estuvo muy participativo en todo el encuentro. Siempre destaca por su velocidad por la banda derecha.

Big star of Cadete A's win. The American had three goals and was a very active player the entire game. He always stands out due to his speed on the right wing.

Has he been called into any U-17 camps? Would he have any chance to play up a year for the U-17 WC, provided we qualify?

He's been called up for the U-16s. I doubt if he is in the mix for a potential U-17 call up.

You'd be shocked at how often kids in US youth clubs botch those kinds of chances because of bad technique and awareness
