Cruz Azul, Monterrey, and Santos are the top 3 teams in the Mexican league right now. and Toluca is also pretty good.

Let's face it this draw doesn't pass the smell test. Please. How did it JUST happen all the Mexican sides play Mexican sides,MLS sides play MLS sides,and Central American sides play each other. Then just by chance the Mexicans are in the same bracket in the semis and MLS vs Central American teams. Our confederation has now lost all cerdibility.

 

silly Concacaf, the only way to stop a Mexican team from raising the CCL trophy is to have 0 mexican teams in the quarters

 

Santos vs Saprissa will be the final

 

Cruz Azul will be champ.

 

If losing the final means you are the champ then you will be correct.

Then again, they will play a non-mexican team in the final, so if Blue X ever had a chance to win the CCL this would be the year.

 

this is their time. If they win the win the apertura this year, they will take the CCL too and pusibly the clausura as well. They and Monterrey are the best team in Mexico right now, a cut above the rest, they must win.

 

My prediction for the final Cruz Azul vs. Real Salt Lake. By the time of the final Salt Lake should be in great form. Winner Cruz Azul. Why because Mexican sides are better than any side from any other country BTW I am not Mexican American I just know soccer in this confederation.

 

I agree for this final. This is the biggest chance to cruz azul to win her 6th champions league/champions cup. Concacaf fakes the draw it's a evidence but I think it was in the interest of this competition in order to revive it. The mexican domination made CCL monotonous. The others teams will take some experiences and willl be stronger to contest the mexican domination in long-term

 

I agree that it is good for the competion. But why not just be honest about it? I think this maybe the way it will be done from now on till MLS or Central Amercan team can catch up with the Mexican teams.

 

I think that Olimpia will win at home 3-0. And draw in San Jose. Columbus will advance but not convincing. And Toluca will face Santos in the semis with Toluca in the Finals with Olimpia. Olimpia wins the tourny.

 

Toluca is not doing very good, and they're losing their coach at the end of the season.

seriously, if anything, monterrey, santos and toluca never had a harder road to the final.

 

ok then Santos lose to Olimpia!

 

I don't mean to demean the other leagues, but any Mexican team that reaches the final will win it. Hopefully that is Cruz Azul, they have the money to stay competitive until the CWC.
