Sacha starts in CM. (Najar starting at RM)

Sacha just led a nice counter that was ruined by the forward dwelling too long on the ball rather than shooting or passing back to Sacha.

    Still 0-0 after 11 mins.

Sacha wins the ball in midfield, passes to Najar, who gets free with a nice move and goes on a marauding run, but loses the ball.

Anderlecht getting decent amounts of space in midfield.

    It's also raining like crazy

    Sacha stoned by Szczezny!

He latches onto a cleared ball at the top of the box, has a nice dribble to get past a defender, and is one on one vs the keeper but shoots too close.

EDIT: Just saw a replay, the ball was bouncing and he didn't get good contact on the shot. Unfortunate.

Arteta scores with a chipped penalty. I didn't see the foul.

Goal #2. Alexis puts in a great goal off a rebound from a close FK that he won with either a blatant dive or slip.

oh in case you're wondering what happened, Goal # 3, Kljestan has possession in his own half, hold the ball, holds the ball, holds the ball, gives away easily, immediate goal

I think he chipped in the ball that led to the penalty that Anderlecht just scored to make it 3-2

3-3 now. I didn't see the mistake described above, but he seems to be playing at a high level for him.

He aint great, but to be fair, it seemed like a pretty clear foul to me.

or maybe he just slipped on that turf

Najar's deemed considerably better. This year, Andy has stepped it up time and is now an entrenched starter with the club.

Absent that brain fart, and possibly a foul, Sacha had a pretty solid game. Going 90 in the CL. Pretty damn respectable given the shiite we've had to put up with in terms of our other YA's this term. I would say that this speaks to the consistency, professionalism, and determination of Sacha. He ain't a Ferrari, but he is our Accord.

I wonder if this also speaks for looking at smaller leagues but top clubs in those smaller leagues. I know the competition week in and out is limited, but being able to play in the CL even twice or three times a season against a team like Arsenal may not be worse then riding the pine in the EPL for a cellar dwellar. Obviously with Sacha mostly on the bench for Anderlecht of late, that doesn't help either. Whatevs, good on ya Sacha.
