Fulham win 2-0! Reading lose 1-0. Offically out of relegation zone for now. We play Portsmouth, Reading plays Derby County.

    McBride you ********ing legend!!!!!!!

What a game from the backline, especially the centerbacks, just tremendous.

Dempsey was strong, very crisp passing, great workrate.

I have to say, you gotta be impressed with what Hodgson has done, having Fulham playing quality football, bringing in Hangeland, Nevland and giving Kamara another chance after he looked just horrible for much of the season.

Now we just need to get a Sunderland win, Bolton won't win next week vs. Chelsea.

I believe, and I LOVE IT.

    COME ON YOU WHITES!!!!!!!!

Fulham's fate is in their own hands next week, how long has it been since they've been able to say that?

Now we just need Bolton to lose by 3 or 4 goals :)

a win (considering they have a +6 differential), and they stay up.

Which I wouldn't have given any odds after being down 2-0 last week

and yes we do - for Convey and Marcus' sake.

[result]and it was awfully polite of those nice Wigan boys to beat Villa, helping Everton's quest for 5th place[/result]

I mean, the title says multiple Rs. You have to know what you're getting yourself into.

A win is pretty tall order away to Portsmouth. Reading are away to Derby which should be an interesting game. Birmingham get Blackburn and Bolton have Chelsea.

I can see Derby getting points off Reading so a draw might be enough for Fulham next week (potentially even a loss if Derby does the unthinkable). As to the suggestion that Blackburn have nothing to play for against B'ham, I disagree. This is their last game of the year, they're in a congested part of the table and I believe every place is worth 500,000 L or something like that. They can finish anywhere between 6th and 9th.

Could Fulham move to 16th if Sunderland beat Bolton?

Anyone going to watch Bolton Sunderland game? 12:15 on FSC

I don't understand why it was changed to multiple Rs. For those who wanted to follow the Reading match result, they could easily have just opened a new window and followed that game thread.

Lets not forget Portsmouth have the FA Cup final to play for so they will probably rest some players. They just lost 2-0 to Boro

alright now that it has all sunk in and everything, the europha and all that. How F-ing legend is Brian McBride. If he doesnt have a solid gold statue outside of Craven Cottage at the end of the season Fulham should be ashamed of themselves.

Man, I'm starting to get worried about Reading...ok, not that I wasn't before.

It might be a tall order to have both Reading and Fulham stay up at Bolton's expense...:(

Keller wasn't tested very often but came out well to collect a couple crosses.

Dempsey I thought wasn't as consistent or active as he was in the past few weeks, but he was still very valuable in keeping possession, as always, and he had a few important tackles over the course of the game.

McBride did very well today. The goal was huge, but he was also winning aerial challenges all day and holding up the ball well.

Heck Reading could win and they could still conceivably go through with a loss if Bolton lose by enough.

and now we hope for Jones, Chopra, and the rest of Keane's squad to put down an onslaught in 5 minutes. Does this magically become the Bolton-Sunderland gameday thread as well? :p

Because policing folks talking about other relegation games is like playing whack-a-mole. We often do this at the end of the season when other games make a big difference to a team's survival.
