Well, beating Birmingham at the Cottage will leapfrog the Whites to...18th place! If Fulham can come out of the match improving their goal differential (well, by +6!) they might be able to dodge relegation even if they lose to Portsmouth.

Of course, the voodoo also includes a Birmingham loss to the Rovers, a Bolton loss to Sunderland, and the continual destruction of the Rams.

Is this game on Setanta? Their website is down at the moment. I wouldn't want to miss the 6 goal thriller.

Reading should be safe even with a loss to the Spurs unless Bolton can shock Chelski in their title race.

God I love overly optimistic speculation.

Not sure if its on Setanta. There is a possibility of a stream but it is pretty unlikely given there both lower level clubs. In my experience it is always harder to find streams when 2 lower level clubs are playing each other, however if it is on Setanta then a stream may be available. I don't have Setanta so i'm hoping a stream will show up.

kinda a big game, just a bit. I think we should put some overly extreme title in the thread like TOTAL WAR or THE YANK ULTIMATUM. Something to that nature. Like, so extreme it makes you want to get a mountain dew just by reading the title

yeah, the Sunderland-Bolton match will be payed attention to with much interest this weekend too im sure. Love what Keane's done over there, completely changed the mindset of that club, hopefully the Black Cats can get the W and help Fulham on that end. Other sides may play a weakened side, but i dont think Roy "ill kick you in your goddamned teeth if you let up" Keane is going to let anyone on his side let up. If nothing else for the sheer fear factor lol.

He's been playing for the reserves latelly. He scored in their match against Aston Villa. The last reserve match was supposed to be on Tuesday against Portsmouth but it was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

I doubt if Eddie will see any action but a speedy forward should have success against
Blues' pathetically slow backline. Villa's wingers shredded us 2 weeks ago :(

I predict that Keller will make a tremendous save, punt the ball deep downfield Dempsey, who jukes a few defenders, and then plays a perfectly weighted cross to an on rushing McBride who heads in the game winner. To quote Zapp Branigan

"If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominos will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate."

With Kamara's late-season emergence EJ is a surplus. He should stay with the reserves and start fresh (with a Summer of training) next season.

I really feel like Dempsey is going to bag a goal in this one, he's been close lately and I think he's finally going to get a big one (again).

I really hope there are streams. While it's two bad teams, it's also the most important game on the day, considering the game is absoultely vital for both clubs.

I may have to goto Brit's Pub to see this, as it's on Setanta, let's just hope I can get the Mancs there to turn the fing game on.

We may get lucky with a stream since it is on Setanta, sometimes they have a stream feed of the channel.

However, it is two lower level teams but i'm still holding out for a stream. Don't have Setanta.

Massive game for Fulham, I also think Dempsey will get a goal or come very, very close.

I suspect Mcbride and Kamara upfront with either Healy or Nevland on the bench. I doubt EJ will be included in the squad, the reserves last game was rescheduled for Tuesday the 6th, i'm sure he will play in that.

McBride and Kamara up front. Clint and Keller get the start as well with Boca on the bench.

With the exception of no Boca, this is the lineup that Hodgson should have been playing seen his arrival. Not playing Dempsey and Bullard at the same time was a foul mistake.

Hodgson said he was going to talk to the ref about Jaidhi screening the goalies... made a point about it being against the spirit of the game and possibly and offside play.

Lots of good streams for this one... unfortunately they're all up for the wrong reason:eek:
