Did Ki arrive at Newcastle in a private jet couple weeks ago? Nice...

Also some quotes from Shelvey about Ki:

I think he's like me and just likes the number 4. He's had a variation of 4 for awhile now. Either as no. 24 with Swansea or as no. 4 at Sunderland and Swansea.

With 16 being 4^2, thought it had some more significance given his various codes on his boots and his (sigh) name on back of shirt. ps I hope its just Ki this season.

Ah didn't make that connection. Possibly Gerrard's NT number? Kirrard.

    사 (死) = death
    사 (四) = 4 or 4th

i don't know about JPN but def for the Chinese, it's a HUGE deal. yes in KOR too but it all stems from China. double 4, or 8 otoh is the antithesis, very good luck.

There are buildings which skip the 4th floor though. But it's def not a strong belief.

I dunno. I learned about this from my folks long ago so I thought this would be better known on this forum / bigger thing in Korea but compared to the chinese who seem obsessed with such things, even a big thing in Korea would be relatively tame.
