And even if Sunderland had not already been more or less safe from relegation, what's more important? Risking further knee injury for Sunderland where he was on loan or becoming fully recovered for our KNT in time for the world cup... The revisionist crap from some idiotic Sunderland fans seems to have infected and spread elsewhere...
I still get DMs and so on from Sunderland fans wishing Ki would come back to them. Yes Ki bailed on em once things were safe but Sunderland would not be in PL without them.
It means you know how run with lactic acid buildup against headwin with miderate fast twitch muscles .06533 seconds faster than 57% of world class amateur footballers in 46.374 meter dash. You also have 2 graduate degrees.
Btw I seem to recall from the English press that Poyet and Sunderland desperately wanted to make the Ki move permanent. There were never any details that Poyet thought 10m was too much. But in the end Monk sat him down that summer and convinced him to stay at Swansea. tl;dr Rob talking sh!t out his nether regions as always.
There is a pattern in Ki's career: "Mystery illness", "dead leg," "tendonitis," sister's wedding, and other symptoms of being unreliable as a professional (this is the criticism that his dad claimed Laudrup made of Ki), especially when it comes to crunch time. Last year, Swansea stopped relying on Ki in similar circumstances. Sunderland were nowhere near being safe from relegation when Ki claimed he had tendonitis. If one actually has tendonitis, it is almost always a recurring condition, so it seems unlikely to me that he would never have had such a condition before or after these crucially important matches.
Damn forgot Altidore was on this team. Lol. Much love for Ki still on posters TL Our road to Wembley 2014Take me back please.....#SAFC pic.twitter.com/D4CnYUgKzW— SunderlandRed (@sunderlandred) January 26, 2017
