https://www.fourfourtwo.com/us/feat...urce=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_m_medium=t Thats backs up this. Source: PSV will attend Dallas v Pachuca to specifically watch midfielder Kellyn Acosta.— MLS Transfers (@MLSTransfers) March 29, 2017
The next two games will probably be walkovers but in the knockouts he will have a chance to shine against some motivated B sides so he will have a chance to wipe out the bad performance against Panama. Is it really better for him to leave his situation at Dallas for Europe at this point? Are we still thinking that every national team prospect needs to get to Europe to reach their fullest potential?
Any update on interest? Info in the OP is from 3+ months ago from a highly questionable twitter account. IIRC Schalke was lurking a while back.
Doubtful... coaches and scouts understand that guys, especially 21 one year olds, have bad games. Cumulatively, and with his age.... he won't mature as a CM for another couple of years at least, he's a great pick up.
Actually, no, its not. You should read the OP, thats part of it, but not the basis of why the thread was made.
One source said Acosta has drawn interest from PSV in Holland, as well as a club in Germany. So as of now that one source is a twitter account which is regularly wrong and the aforementioned Schalke, which is a club in Germany, a rumor from awhile ago, which I mentioned and was extremely loosely tied to scouts showing up to Pachuca/FCD to watch a number of players. Nothing new. Nothing else. Anyone have any rumors which are at least as trustworthy as the Daily Mail?
Why are you so interested in rubbishing the report? Is Tenorio not legit? We shouldn't regard what he says? And whether MLS Transfers is questionable or not, I think it adds to his credibility when a very credible reporter says something he said months ago. So we got two pretty solid accounts that PSV is interested, along with a solid account of interest in Germany.
I don't understand the insistence to having hot takes about Acosta. Not referencing anyone specifically, but a lot of people do. His game is not deserving of hot takes. He's a good, solid all-around player. Not inconsistent, not a malcontent, not a player who only performs for club or country and not both.
Thats selective memory. You are referencing the one bad match he's played for the NT. What about Ghana B, which is better than Panama B or Mexico A, which is better than Panama B? Acosta is consistent for club and country. There's really not a good argument that he isn't, unless you are going to point me to one match.
Did you manage to forget he was Dallas' best player vs the best team on the continent? Tigres are better than a majority of teams in Europe.
brah he was extremely overrated in that Mexico game. Mexico dominated possession because of our poor CMs
Where's the accounts from anyone other than the not to be trusted MLSTransfers twitter account? 442 appears to just have gone off the same weak rumor from that garbage account.
What does that mean? There's dozens of leagues in Europe. He's got some Bund game to him but I'd expect would be on the bench much of his first season while adapting with a few appearances here and there.
Its posted in the first post. In the link in the same post. You really think Tenorio takes a rumor from 4 months ago by a twitter account as his own news? No, I think he had that info himself. Probably is common knowledge to the people who follow this kind of stuff, as I'm sure it would be if the interest was real.
You've lost all credibility on soccer analysis with this post. Not anymore by a fairly sizable margin.
