I expect to keep waiting patiently for a little while longer, hence the "". ;)

I'm glad we have games to keep us busy in the meantime.

How many of us would be in straight jackets right now if we didn't have those games?

General FYI: Governor Blunt did sign 8 bills on Tuesday and 3 more on Wednesday but none of them are ours.

Unfortunately, construction inflation is skyrocketing right now. Looks to be just shy of 17% for the year. :(

    I think it's HB 2007.

I wonder if OnGoal/Lane4 are pushing the Govenor to sign it or not.

Ok I will say it again just so it isn't forgotten...I will be happy to knock it down for a 6 pack of Stout from Boulevard, a bull dozer, a dump truck and Hard hat mike (or whatever his name was ) to look official:rolleyes: all to be provided by OnGoal. I will give the dump truck and dozer back afterwards. and i can do it all at night and be done by morning.

I suggest driving a big dumptruck full of slop to Jeff City and park it right behind boy wonder's car until he signs the bill. :D

    *sigh*
Well this makes me doubt whether the stadium will be completely ready for the start of the 2010 season. Can anybody say "extended road trip" to start the season? I know they said construction would only take 12-13 months (which I think is extremely optimistic), but they have a lot of demolition and prep work to do in the area first. Damn politicians.

    sonuvabitch! f**king government. worthless.

we'll just play a couple home games at the cab instead of a long road trip to start the season. well, i believe that's what we'll do, but i can't guarantee we won't have a long road trip, judging from this season.

Is everyone gonna jump off the nearest bridge? sheesh.
We all knew that even though the budget got our TIF stuff in it that we'd still have to apply for the money. And no way was it gonna be given immediately. Even if they can't start anything until October that is almost 18 months before the 2010 season starts. I'm not worried.

Couple the on field performance lately, with the fact that until recently we were supposed to start construction, like, now is causing people to get a little pissed off with the team as a whole and anything related to it.

Not to be an alarmist, but Sen. Arlan (spelling?) Spector said yesterday that congress would not investigate the whole taping of NFL walk throughs by opposing teams "scandal" but that he would be investigating public financing of professional sports team stadiums. Likely not an issue for us, but depending on how far he takes this (see also: MLB steriod discussion in congress!) it could cause some politicians to get a bit jumpy. May be interesting to watch how it all plays out. Of course, it could just be Spector playing the politics card himself and telling the NFL " Clean up or we will go after stadium funding and cut it off".

Very well said. We could be in San Antonio or Tulsa or Rochester.

Big deep calming breath. First step is getting the Governor's signature. Then we take another long deep breath until mid-August.

If you can't do that, just step away from the computer for a while .... ;)

You're right, there's still time. Didn't mean to sound like I was freakin out, just frustrated. kuhn said it best. Just an accumulation of performance, lack of destruction at bannister, and waiting on stadium renderings. My meds are kicking back in now. :)

Stadium frustration is something Red Bulls fans understand all to well, we are past the stadium rendering stage and into the construction stage now for the last 6 months with out much progress. Frustrated, just thank God you aren't a Red Bulls fan....
