Well, there are still a bunch of regional leagues there. The problem for a lot of the prospects, however, is that "real" RL clubs now expect production and are far less concerned with training the future stars.

He didn't necessarily struggle. He was a free agent because Leverkusen disbanded their II squad, leaving him without a contract.

He came off the bench three times for the U19s, for a total of 59 minutes.

He came off the bench four times for the U23s, for a total of 27 minutes. He was an unused substitute an additional nine times.

At Leverkusen, Bailey was roster filler for the youth teams.

Well he signed a pro-contract so not sure if he was 100% filler but I get your point.

Have we confirmed this yet? Signing with LA Galaxy, same year as LD retiring. Coincidence? :sneaky:

He seems to have resurfaced with Tuerkspor Augsburg in Germany's sixth division, according to a few different sites. Something appears to be going on there, because there are apparently a number of Yanks who've joined the team for this season.

Not quite sure what this chart is saying, but looks like he had a good performance this past month:

The TM stats are not up-to-date, but he does have a goal in his 1st match this season.
