As of Tuesday, another super fight for our enjoyment at the K-1 Grand Prix Final in Zagreb has been revealed. Fight Site exclusively found out that on March 15 we will see the best fighter of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dževad Poturak, facing dangerous Belarusian Alexey Ignashov in Zagreb Arena. This matchup was confirmed to us by the main producer of the event and head of Fight Channel Orsat Zovko, commenting that these are excellent fighters who always put up a great battle. In his last two fights, “BH Machine” suffered two questionable defeats (Ciobanu, Aarab), so he’s determined now more than ever to return to winning ways in Zagreb already. The experienced fighter was scheduled for a Zagreb appearance last year at Cro Cop Final Fight, but was prevented by an eye injury, causing him to cancel the bout at the last minute. The Belarus has had an eventful career, with a series of wins against reputable opponents, such as Freddy Kemayo, Bard Hari, Peter Aerts, Jurgen Kruth, Mike Bernardo, Jan Nortje etc. In 2003 he participated at the K-1 Final Fight Star War event in Zagreb, where he defeated Croatia’s Josip Bodrožić by decision. Last year was half-way successful for Ignashov, as he recorded two wins against Rus and Hameur-Lain and lost to Cenik and Hron.
