Actually Gangwon is now with competent operation and management. The club president Cho Tae-ryong had built proven resume with the Nexen Heroes Baseball club for several years before joining Gangwon FC. He cleaned out all the mess the previous management left and is doing good job of letting local broadcasters cover their home games live a lot.

They will find a sponsor if they are going to play classic next year, but i think that, in the end, Seongnam will win. Tell me i did read it wrong. One month between each leg for the play-off? Seriously?
I think that had to do with the contract renewal. Both High1 and Gangwon were negotiating the deal at the moment. It was well resolved though.
They had a sponsor, but the sponsor wasn't paying their financial instalments to the club on time, so the club eventually used the "nuclear option" of covering the sponsor logo until they paid up.
Can't belive Ilhwa Chunma will relegate. They were in ACL last season. Ok, not that's the big problem, but they were playing pretty well in the first part of the season. Tiago was great...
