Another month, another thread. Here are this months fixtures...

Despite the poor performance in the SuperCoppa, we got August to a good start winning the first two league matches. We are on break at the start of September due to the international schedule but then have a full month that includes the commencement of the Champions League. That is on the road against Barcelona but for most of the month, we are at the Allianz Stadium including the Derby della Mole..

    Serie A
    9 Sep - Chievo Verona
    17 Sep - at Sassuolo
    20 Sep - Fiorentina
    23 Sep - Torino

    Champions League
    12 Sep - at Barcelona
    27 Sep - Olympiakos

You may as well transfer my post as we both started the thread at the same time.

Injury wise, Marchisio took a good time to go rehab his knee. He missed out this past weekend, is skipping international duty as @scirea6 commands and may be available on the bench against Barca.

This is a really bold decision.

    http://www.football-italia.net/109252/lichtsteiner-‘cl-exclusion-blow’

“My exclusion from the Champions League list? This is obviously a hard blow and a huge disappointment,” Lichtsteiner wrote on his Instagram page.

“That’s life - the important thing is not how often you fall, but how many times you find the strength to get up, roll up your sleeves, keep fighting and never give up.

I'd say play both of them. Rugani and Barzagli as CB's, and Howedes as right back with Sandro as left maybe? De Sciglio I have faith in, but against Barca, maybe better to go with an experienced player over a youth player so maybe start Howedes in right back?

International break is over, time to get back to our winning ways! Unfortunately, Sandro had to fly out to Brazil only to sit the bench and now will have to make the return trip from South America. Hoping for a lot of wins this month!

Thank God...the less our players play in the break the better

I have a feeling they purposely sidelines Marchisio so he doesnt go on the break. Hopefully he's back soon.

Chiellini is definitely out for this Saturday's clash against Chievo and is in doubt for the game against Barca.

This Barca game is tricky. Its possible we might lose. People think they are in shambles cuz Neymar left but they can still play their game and hold the ball against us. Our defense has been shaky as well. Im hoping we can at least get a draw.

Suarez is injured as well. But yeah its not easy especially at Camp Nou. We could lose, but I think we should be able to pick up a point at least given the circumstances.

Hey by the way I just noticed a coincidence!

    April 8 2017: Juventus 2-0 Chievo
    April 11 2017: Juventus 3-0 Barcelona

We play Chievo on Saturday again, and Barcelona on Tuesday, LOL!!!!

    September 9: Juventus vs Chievo
    September 12: Barcelona vs Juventus

During todays presser Allegri stated that Chiellini, Marchisio and Khedira are out, Buffon will be rested. Pjanic and Matuidi to start in the middle. Szczesny will start in goal.

He also stated that he hopes to have Chiellini back for Barca.

Since Cuadrado is suspended against Barca, expect to see him starting tomorrow. The game will be live on beIN Sports USA.
