Complimenti to the Khedira naysayers. He scored.

Chievo was playing 10 deep at full strength. Then 9 deep. Now it is 8. That sea of yellow is not going to be easy to break.

Just to add some perspective to today's result.

Chievo Verona has a -16 Goal Differential, they have allow an average of 21 shots per game.... which is ranked the 13th worst in the league. They average 13 tackles a game and also average 12 interceptions a game. And finally they average 10 fouls a game.

Bernardeschi has been awful since he came in.

Except he is the only reason that there is a goal with that assist he gift wrapped to Sami. That balled was headed out of bounds and Berna saved it.

I will agree with you that he has been very selfish since that goal and his shots are way off. But his passing has been fine... and the speed of play and intensity in the final third took off as soon as he got on the field.

If we are honest, he has been both good and bad... but he is directly responsible for that goal... Any one could have volleyed that in.

Costa has never really had a bad game this season, he is so dynamic on the field and he creates so many chances, he should be a permanent starter.

It creates a problem for Mario who i think could use some time off to get fresh. I really hope that Costa is on the field against the Spurs, juve will absolutely need him in that game.

We take over first place. Let's see how Napoli takes the pressure.

Szczesny had a quiet game... but that save at the end was absolutely critical for the 3 points today.

Its nice to know that despite Gigi not being in the net in the near future, Juve have found a very competent keeper, his is also aggressive in getting off his line and he knows how to do that without not winning the ball.

I am glad Juve have him because Donnarumma is such a bust, I see him washing out into mediocrity.

That ref had some balls today.

Frankly, I think both red cards were the correct call. The first one was clear and there really can't be any arguments on that one.

The second one, the ref had to stop play, go all the way down the filed to get the idiot to get up, then as he should told him to get off the field which he refused to do. When he finally did go he makes handcuff gestures on the way off and then as he is standing on the sideline waiting to come back on.

That kind of gesture calls into question the integrity of the ref and the game itself. That can't be tolerated or before long all he!! will break loose in Serie A. Frankly, Mou got a 3 game ban for that gesture and so should that clown.

I will take the 3 points and move on.

Nothing wrong with the refs decisions. Each 100% reds especially when you take into consideration Mandzukic and Khedira's reds these past few seasons.

Berna was poor once he came on but atleast he got an assist. Seems to get a goal or an assist every time he gets decent minutes.

Douglas was abusing the Chievo RB today. Managed to put in a perfect cross that even fatty couldnt miss.

Isn't it crazy that we have to praise a referee for making the right calls in sending players off if its against Juve?

he has lost a ton of weight, the few times he has taken his shirt off it is clear to see that all that extra fat has been fully cut. Maybe this shift to culling the extra pounds has led to tired legs which explains the whole sloppy first touch that he still has not fixed.

    Great result, meh performance.

Juve are now unbeaten in roughly 13 matches. The defense in this run has been monstrous while the attack has stagnated a bit. Juve went from a free scoring team with a leaky defense to a team with a stingy defense but so so in attack.

The switch to a 3 man midfield has solidified the back, but it has affected the attack. If we get Can next year we may be able to play a more attacking approach as he can sit back and destroy as well as move the ball forward.

Losing Cuadrado and Dybala has had an effect as well. Plus we traditionally get off to slow starts after the winter break.

At least we are still winning.

In the last 13 games Juve have scored on average 2 goals a game, that's not a bad statistic to have.

That's the key statistic right there. This is how we got to the Champions League Final last season. It's the only way we'll get back this season. We have some nice attackers, but we're not Barca or City in that department.

I was ok with Berna's performance...he got an assist and that is what makes the difference. For a player like him who rarely plays, he needs to take his chances and he tried taking a couple of shots which were bad. We cannot crucify players or making mistakes here and there, they all do, even our top players. We need to let players like him, Rugani, Bentancur get their feet wet, get some experience and along the way they make mistakes and grow.
