We ended October on a good note and are done playing at the San Siro for the remainder of the Serie A season. That should mean good results all the way through. With an international break, only three league fixtures. We do have two important CL matches that not only would put us through the next round but could determine our placing. Serie A 6 Nov - at Chievo 19 Nov - Pescara 27 Nov - at Genoa Champions League 2 Nov - Lyon 22 Nov - at Sevilla
We have now gotten through the worst part of our first half schedule. When it came out, it seems to be front loaded with only Roma coming between now and the end of the round. I thought if we could get to this point at or near the front we were going to be hard to catch since most other teams have more tough games in this section of the season. Well....mission accomplished. Keep winning and our lead will grow. CL fixtures are key and I hope most of the team is healthy by the time we play Sevilla. We are going to need everyone to win that one.
seems like a nice month for Claudio to transition back into getting into form for us with exception of Sevilla. what are chances of him getting called up for the NT given he has just returned?
we shouldn't need him for Liechtenstein. Liechtenstein are arguably the weakest team in Europe, may on par with San Marino and Gibraltar.
I am not sure if Higuain on the wing is a best choice. Maybe put Sandro there and bench Mandzukic? Evra as LB, and that would work. Or 4-4-2 with Khedira on the bench.
Conte seems to have figured it out at Chelsea after what was a very poor stretch of matches. Here is hoping that Allegri figures it out. ------------------Higuain -----------Pjaca-----------Dybala Sandro---Marchisio---Khedira*---Alves ----------------------BBC *Lemina ------------Higuain------Dybala ---------------------Pjanic----------- Sandro---Marchisio---Lemina*---Alves ----------------------BBC *Khedira ------------Higuain------Dybala ---------------------Pjanic----------- Sandro---Marchisio---Khedira*---Alves ----------------------BBC ---------------Higuain ---------Pjaca-----------Dybala ----------Lemina-----Pjanic* ---------------Marchisio Sandro--Bonucci--Barzagli--Alves ---------------Higuain ------Pjaca----Dybala----Cuadrado ----------Lemina---------------------- ---------------Marchisio Evra--Bonucci--Barzagli--Alves
I have been thinking a 3-4-3 might work best with our current personnel. At any rate, we need to attack with more pace and urgency.
Juve's average age vs Lyon was well over 30. Lemina, Pjaca, Dybala, and Pjanic can balance the side's experience with youth. The team's physical state declined badly with 40 minutes left in that match. When do Pjaca and Dybala return?
I don't know where to put this, so I will put it here. Enjoy, esp for you younger fans who may not know these players: http://thesefootballtimes.co/2016/11/03/the-glory-years-of-a-star-studded-juventus-in-the-1980s/
