    The new season is just around the corner. None of us have any clue what to expect. Who will make up the team? How will we play? Will we start off to a strong start? Many unanswered questions.

    Only one official match for the month of August. We travel to Parma. Then we move into September with plenty of fireworks going against Napoli & Fiorentina as well as the CL.

    They appear to have front loaded our schedule a bit here which could hurt us as we are in transition.

    I think there is going to be a real battle this year to win the Scudetto because I am nt sure how long it is going to take us to figure out Sarri-ball.

    Looking at that list we could find ourselves in a real group of death given the rules for who we can and can't play. You know we will prolly get one English and 1 Spanish team in our group.

    Usually, I can't wait for the start of the season. Being without Juve is almost a physical pain, but I'm dreading this season.

    I have no faith in Maurizio Sorry whatsoever and the behavior and decision-making of our management, after the signings of De Ligt and Demiral, has been appalling. Pride cometh before the fall, and I'm scared we've reached that precipice.

    I have similar fears.

    I will give Sarri a chance, but....if he really WAS their 1st choice, and their most recent transfer targets and rumors/activites are accurate, you really have to wonder.....

    I am afraid we may be missing Bepe by January.

    Just like every season when Alessio Secco was our sporting director. Back to the future.

    Beppe, Max, and Conte all brought something to the team to make us who we are. I am not looking back to them and wishing they were here. To me, Sarri is the only question mark. If he is can get it right, we should have no problem winning the league for the 9th straight year.

    so far the season doesnt seem to be very exciting...

    the bad;
    losing Dybala, Cancelo for shittier players
    still stuck with our junk players; khedira, matuidi, higuain, mandzu
    lost a good fullback in Spinzzola for another project that will go on loan
    midfield; a collection of above average players, but not 1 world class one

    the good;
    ronaldo
    gigi
    de ligt

    I don't think Pellegrini is going anywhere, we would only be left with Sandro at LB if he did

    I am beginning to think the same and that Max may be glad he won't be around to see the ship sink.

    How far into the season before Max is called back to dump the water out of the ship?

    They just need to sign Neymar and Pogba and game on. :) Wishful thinking of course.

    Is it me or have all the voices foretelling the imminent death of Juventus soccer taken on a distinct echo? It must be the acoustics in their meeting place down in the whine cellar.

    Looks like our new boss has pneumonia. Maybe that will be enough for him to give up the cancer sticks.

    So we are going into this season with Mandzukic and Higuain as our only strikers?

    it'll be interesting who will be the 6 cut from CL squad...
    lets say Rugani is sold, Perin is left out...who else do we leave out? i highly doubt it'll be Higuain or Mandzu as they are the only strikers...so that leaves buncha midfielders....are we really leaving a khedira or matuidi off the list while they collect 10m worth of salaries? seems outrageous but we are left with no choice

    Also, is the minimum requirement from Uefa to have a certain # of homegrown players? what is that min? if we only have Pinsoglio, who takes other spots?

    We only go in with 1 homegrown which leaves us with the 22 man squad, if all requirements were met we would have 25 slots.
