On the second goal Cancelo had the man covered from the top of the box all the way to the line, Rugani drifted out and left a massive empty area, then as he sees the Parma player already covered he attempts to drift in to cover the space he left open. He should have been in that space, if he were he would have been on the correct side of Gervinho, on the third goal he wasn't marking Ingelse properly.

It starts at 2:48. Gervinho is trailing behind & Pjanic just watches him go towards the goal. Rugani already was marking. He had to switch off to pick up Gervinho but it was not fast enough. But the play broke down with Spinazolla & Matuidi not covering their flank properly.

When has Pjanic ever sacrificed himself defensively? He just switches off in every single game. ********ing hate that guy, can't wait until he leaves

Again, Rugani was marking nobody. Cancelo picked him up already and followed the player all the way into the box, Rugani drifted back to pick up the Parma player (who was already covered) and left a huge gap in the box.

Are you blind or do you just want to argue. Don't look at it from when Gervinho gets the ball. Look at it from before. Rugani is marking a player already. Cancelo came in late. But the culprit is Pjanic, who allowed Gervinho to stroll in unmarked. We know you hate Italians. It is racist the way you act. Rugani was not at fault on this goal or the others.

Do you read what I write? Cancelo already had that player marked, at the top of the box when Rugani moved over to mark him. You can see him look back and see he's already marked, that's when Rugani goes into that wide open space, where he should have drifted to instead of creating it. Had Rugani been where he was supposed to he would have been much closer to Gervinho and mark him properly.

We all know why you're defending him so hard.

Cancelo did not have him marked. The player came from the right & drifted left. Rugani switched off to pick up Gervinho.

and of course Khedira is slow jogging back into the box with no awareness of who is around him, he could have intercepted that.

Yeah maybe its not his job, but you could put any young italian or foreign player there and he would be running non stop as they would be thrilled to be getting minutes.

Actually, it was Samis man and you can see this 2 seconds before the cross is played. Rugani was marking the other striker who floated to the back post and then he was too far to get to Gervinho

Its surreal to see him still getting minutes when he keeps doing the same thing over and over again.

I never understood the praise for Can when he was just average at
Liverpool ( a very over rated league) with a hand full of good performances, he is not a fluid player, he is very "chunky" with his movement and on the ball play, he is not dynamic and his defense talent only comes from being a big stocky guy who can get in front of pacy players, that is if he doesnt get ran past or juked.

What’s your guys’ issue with Dybala? He seems like a really good player.

He's just been inconsistent and has underperformed a lot this season.

Some people would take issue with the way the shirt clings to an ample bosom others give thanks for all nature's bounties. He'll demonstrate his true value soon enough

Really encouraging stuff after a lousy beginning. We desperately need Chiellini back for the important fixtures though.
