A very busy fixture month as Serie A has moved its break to January and insists on following the British Boxer Day model playing the day after Christmas. Brilliant as players rarely have muscle injuries in the cold. The foes are not easy and it includes the Derby della Mole.

    Serie A
    1 Dec - at Fiorentina
    7 Dec - Internazionale
    15 Dec - at Torino
    22 Dec - Roma
    26 Dec - at Atalanta
    29 Dec - Sampdoria

    Champions League
12 Dec - at Young Boys

That's a Wednesday this year. Do most Italians get/take the day after Christmas off? I'm sure if they do the extra broadcast revenues were never part of the decision. ;)

I am not sure what Italians do the day after Christmas. But there is no Boxer Day tradition in Serie A, so it will be interesting to see how it plays out. Personally, I think the players are better with some off time with family during the Christmas holidays. Allegri already commented today how there will be training on the 24th & 25th (team departing for Bergamo on Christmas) and hopefully the players will be eating little pandoro. I think it was a stupid decision.

Some tough games coming up. We better keep our heads together! I believe we are going to lose to Fiorentina on Saturday. You heard it here first. While I hope I'm wrong, I just see it is time for us to lose, and usually we don't have the best record against Fiorentina in Florence every other season.

The Brit with the commentary on the ESPN+ broadcast is an ignorant twit. Half of the stuff he spews out is wrong. I miss my RAI announcer.

Playing well but Fiorentina is not going to give in. Hopefully we get that second goal early in the second half.

I have to say our defense has been total garbage, Fiorentina is horrible at finishing, they had at least 2-4 clear chances to score and they somehow couldn’t must a goal.

I don’t like Cuadrado in there, he is a huge liability.
Also our midfield game need to do better.
No Emre, no Khedira, no Pjanic...that’s a lot of money not playing on the field.

So Happy we got the win. For some reason I had very nervous feelings about this game! Happy to have beaten them comfortably.

Very low level of stress and anxiety for me after about 5 minutes. Very well called match by the ref, very poorly called match by the Brit twits, and a well played match from Juve.

We did not handle their pressure well in the second half. The midfield was not able to take control. Cancelo got off to a bad start in the second half. Once he began to move the ball, it was better. We won 3:0 away against a side that until today did not lose a match at home.

Fiorentina are fast and young. Good result for us. Class shown by us respecting Astori and Fiorentina showed their true colours with the heysel and scirea insults.

My nonno always said when I was younger that they’re the worst kind of Italians

OMG I still miss Astori. He was always a humble guy and a player that worked very hard for his team.

I haven't missed a Juve game in such a long time, but today was impossible for me. I gather we played well considering the scoreline.

    Ronaldo is on fire

That first goal was a great play. Dybala with a perfect pass, Big M and CR7 take the defenders with them. All bentacur had to do was pick which side to shoot to leaving the goalie standing there with no chance.

Score is deceptive, we had a good game, but Fiorentina had many more chances to score, they just couldn’t finish...their finishing ability was awful.
