If it had been from Karlsruher SC it might also have been in German. ;)

really was the wrong time for him to get injured.

still injured, confirmed on the main Bayern site.
While he's been out the last 4 games, his competition in Joshua Zirkzee has been performing and is cementing himself as the 1st choice striker. Since coming to Bayern and becoming eligible, Zirkzee has scored or assisted in every game he's played save for 1 game.

looks like he's back in training for the U17.

because of the U17 EC that starts next week. The U17 play this weekend and then take a break until end of May. If Butler misses this matchday, could comeback towards the last 2 games of the season.

uh, so he played his 1st game since Dec.
started on the bench , came on as a sub on the 65th minute only to be subbed out at the 79th minute by fellow German-American Hawkins. Seems to be a knock with unknown return time. And nothing has changed in terms of Zirkzee cementing himself more and more as the 1st choice striker. Feel bad for Butler at how his season ended up.

7 U19 players are training with the 1st team but Butler isn't one of them.

only got a start because Timossi just came back from Sweden and Zirkzee was training with the Bayern 1st team. All 3 are 01 strikers as well.

still don't see him make it a Bayern. Bayern says they will give more chances to Academy players but CF will always be the hardest one to give chances to.

    U19 friendly:

The Bayern, who had to continue to dispense with numerous players due to professional shots, played in a 4-1-4-1 system. Chris Richards made his debut for FCB, the new signing from FC Dallas came on as a substitute. With Lasse Günther and Malik Tillman also two players from the U17 Munich were used.

    https://fcbayern.com/de/news/spielb...ern-slavia-prag-140718?shortURL=U19Prag140718

    Lineup FCB-U19: Faster (46th Wagner) - Rausch (30th Kehl), Daniliuc (30th Richards), Mihaljevic (66th Daniliuc), Lungwitz (66th rush) - Jelisic (30th Johansson) - Waidner (66th) Tillman), Tillman (30th Herrmann), Pudic (66th Jelisic), Hollerbach (30th Günther) - Butler (66th Hollerbach)

    Goals: 0: 1 (21st), 1: 1 Pudic (29th), 2: 1 Butler (51st), 3: 1 Jelisic (90th)

he came on the 78th minute in a 5-0 win. I think he's mostly going to be a bench player this season with Timossi and Zirkzee (not even in the squad) the preferred option.
