Just imagine tuning in to FSC or ESPN and seeing a match between Man U and Stroke City FC and seeing several players in the match that you saw live in Austin several years earlier! I'm totally stoked about this! This also finally gave me a reason to really be interested in the US Open Cup, hope we can take down a couple MLS teams.
Well, if MLS teams keep sending out their reserve sides (see: Houston), then there's a good chance that we'll get an opportunity in '09.
It´s actually rather natural that players move in the same way as ordinary immigrants...So we get SAmerican players in Spain/Portugal. East europeans in Germany, people from former colonial areas in France and England etc. Of course there are always some odd cases...
