can't find a thread on 2018 international break ....? anyhow TAA has been invited to train with England (not part of the squad). a good step for the lad, recognition of his great potential. https://www.independent.co.uk/sport...reth-southgate-liverpool-latest-a8265051.html
When I first started following Liverpool (and the Premier League in general) in 2006, I loved the international breaks. I had come to club football by way of the World Cup, which I had followed obsessively in both 2002 and 2006, and so the opportunity to see national teams (and especially the USMNT) on a semi-regular basis, in a way that didn't exist in any other sport (or at least any other sport that large numbers of Americans followed) was exciting to me. No more. Too many times over the years Liverpool's momentum has been disrupted by international breaks, and too many times players have come back from international duty crocked. I dread the things now, and my principal thought is the one suggested by the thread title: just please don't get injured.
our players' travel mileage for the international games, compared to other Prem Big 6 teams...... https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/f...iles-Liverpool-Chelsea-Man-Utd-sportgalleries
Klopp says it's a thing that's been bugging him for a week or so. He should probably rest up until the sub-half of the Palace game.....
Injured or not. Played or not. The team is always slow out of the blocks following the break. Now some are talking about a winter break. Jeez, we might play a couple of matches a month.
Talking about injuries. Englaland play the Ities (hack, hack, trip, trip, dive, dive) comes Tuesday. Directv about nooniish on the left coast. NBCS
We've got to find a way to get Harry Wilson into the first team squad next season - he's better than Kent who impressed last preseason. Scored a nice goal today on his birthday against China: What a lovely finish by Harry Wilson!⚽ His first international goal and on his birthday too! #CHNWAL 📺 @BBCOne Wales and @BBCRedButton 📱 LIVE: https://t.co/vbCKkfButR pic.twitter.com/WlhR6WHbJH— BBC Sport Wales (@BBCSportWales) March 22, 2018
Doesn't look like there are many games of interest to watch in the States. ESPN3 has some games, including Egypt/Portugal and Germany/Spain. No England/Holland so its streams if you want to watch that one. Firmino on the bench right now for Brazil on Bein.
Yep , he's been scoring goals and impressing on loan at Hull , now he's bagged one for Wales . I'd be made up if Harry can push on and crack the first team . He defo deserves a long look in preseason
game not on tv here - did it look serious? watching France give Colombia lessons in how to play football, up 2 goals - the second was Lievrpool-esque in its movement - then the France goalie decides to dive away from an inswinging cross and it bounces into the net 2-1.
http://www.espnfc.com/photo-gallery/3427259/photo/1/argentina-home The spanish nod to '94. The Nigerian home kit. Everything else is bland and worthless. Where is the personality? The eccentricity? The attempt to inject something cultural into the kits?
USA's are hot! 977285469871464448 is not a valid tweet id But.... they missed the show, so maybe they don't count.
