Very much so...the smart thing would be Mexico especially considering his position, he's practically a lock if he ever makes the jump to a senior European squad.

I don't see how limited time with the French youth nt will make him better than playing for Mexico. The clubs are developing players.

He's also guaranteed wcs with Mexico.

He might have stretch the truth to possibly speed up a call up from Mexico.

 

Too early for a call up to the senior team... And even then, he would have to wait till next year to be call up to the U20's, since there won't be any FIFA sanctioned competitions this year.... They could call him for the Toulon Tournament, but I doubt Porto will release him since it's not FIFA sanctioned...
