Paraguay turned it around! The pressure that Paraguay exerts up top is paying off. Nice finish by Haedo :p

I feel bad for Peru, Bolivia and Venezuela.

In any other confederation they'd have a much better chance of going to the World Cup finals.

Estigarribia has made Dani Alves look ordinary in this game.

Same thing is always said about Brazil and yet they always manage to make it to the final...

But I do think that Paraguay settled for the 2-1 way too early. They literally defended around the PK box the last 15 minutes of the game so it was a matter of time.

Nice pass by Ganso in the Fred goal.

    Bittersweet game for me,

Was happy Brasil rescued a point but pissed Paraguay managed to fvk it up at the end.

And once again, Estigarribia is a beast!

Alves es un jugador que juega bonito pero no es decisivo, como lo puede ser maicon que es mucho mas completo y mas util como lateral que alves....

Roque Santa Cruz ties Jose Cardozo as Paraguay's all time scorer, against Brasil nonetheless.

I have not been impressed at all with Brazil. Neymar! Where are you? I feel the rough and tough defending took Neymar out of his game. It's as if he was intimidated today. Against, he was OK in the first half but, today, he was pathetic. He was one on one and he could not even take a good shot, let alone finish. Wow! I am very disappointed.
As for Pato, he was just as pathetic.

I think Brazil should start with the following players:

    Julio Cesar
    Dani Alves (Maicon)
    Lucio
    Thiago Silva
    Andre Santos
    Lucas Leiva
    Elano (Ramirez)
    Lucas
    Ganso
    Neymar
    Pato (Fred)

Lucas will add a lot of pace to the game and will create a lot of room for Neymar. The brazilian coach does not get it yet. In this Copa America, teams are well positioned defensively and therefore, you need players with Lucas's skills that can run at defenders and get them in foul trouble and that will eventually open up the game. Ganso cannot do it. Although he is a cerebral player, he lacks pace and therefore is easily contained. Jadson was having a very poor game until he made a pass to Pato and later when he scored. Brazil was playing poorly until they scored. So no, I don't think Jadson is the answer. Lucas is the man and deserves a chance.

Lucas is like what, 17? Neymar 19. Thats the problem.

They are playing a veteran, disciplined team that almost knocked Spain out of the World Cup. These players play in Brazil, get time on the ball, its slower. Little to no international experience except for some stupid friendlies against the likes of Scotland. Obviously they will be better when they are more experienced.

Brazil would be better if they had Hulk on the team for instance, or Douglas Costa, or Vagner Love...

This is truly the Group of death.

Venezuela will be more then a formidable opponent for Paraguay and despite playing horrible I don't expect Ecuador to lay down for Brasil who are not playing that much better either.
