top scorer in Mexico and only 20. Took the PK last night which is pretty impressive for a 20 year old. Owned by Tigres but loaned to Lobos.

He was part of a club fight a few weeks back that had one of the other Colombians on his team kicked out of the team. Hope he doesn't have discipline problems. Seems like one to watch for.

That's crazy!!! I thought I read someone started shit with Palacios and Quinones was defending his team mate.

But yea he didn't get kicked out because he is their best player.

How is his discipline? It was shaky at the start of his career. Has he matured?

Hopefully he keeps his head straight.
He has the talent to be a very good one soon. At the very least he should be considered a 100% must have for the Olympic squad.

I think that you confuse him with Luis Quiñones who also played there.

No, I mean regarding the discipline problems. It's Luis who is the problematic. Never herd of discipline problems from Julian.

He's had a solid month and is in great form. He is definitely ahead of Borre and Borja right now.

He's battling for the last spot among the strikers on the Colombian national team. IMO that spot is between Quinones and Morelos.

It helps that Arturo Reyes coached Quinones in the summer during the U23 tournament.

It would shock me if he is called up in June but it would be a welcomed shock.

    Love his style and game.

Yeah, impossible to say he's above anyone if he's never been called, despite the form he's in.

That said, I like his generation, the '97 group, and I hope each of them starts getting integrated soon. Diaz is leading the bunch, but Quinones, Benedetti, and, ideally, Atuesta are right behind.

So, after 10 months, Quinones is finally back. Subbed in the past 3 matches.

Saw him tonight in CCL, and he looked pretty damn good.

I think it's only a matter of time before he gets a call up by Quieroz. Probably not in March, but soon.

We really missed a striker potential of his caliber in the Pre-Olimpico that is for darn sure.
