    Birthdate: 06.06.1995
Team: Bayern Munich U17 (2 games, 1 goal)
    Position: Midfield
    Nationality: German
    National team: Germany U16

Despite transfermarkt only listing him as German, he should be eligible for a US passport, since his father is from Tampa (no online source, sorry).

He's listed as a midfielder, but when I saw him for Germany, he usually played as a Rightback. He seems to be very quick though and always tried to get up front, so I think he might be able to play as a right winger too. Scored for Germany today against Cyprus.

Way to step up and point out what many of us were thinking. I think it's time we cut a deal with Germany regarding all the dual Nationals. It would be unfair for them to benefit from our ability to score.

I've had this fellow on a watch list for a while. Where'd you find that information about his dad, smithfan?

    I asked him.

I'm following that national age group for a while now, been to many DFB courses and games.

Like I said before, military bases in Spain, Brazil, Argentina (aside from the Germany one) and we're set.

As a German supporter, you do realize that by informing us about these Yanks, the chances of them playing for the USA increase right? ;)

If someone wants to play for Germany, he will choose Germany anyway. And the others should have the chance to represent the national team they'd like to play for.

    No surprise here.

Other names that raised an eyebrow in BM's Youth ranks:

    Marcel Thomas
    Edwin Black

Not sure if they are still there.

Thomas is a fairly common German name. Just pronounced differently than in English. Actually, it's not that common as a surname, but you couldn't assume that he had American parentage based just on that.

Since his last name is not German, that seems unlikely.

Sure seems like it. My bro was stationed in Germany and said that the brothas are rather popular over there. Saw it for myself when I went and visited. Now for Asians? Not so much :(

Let's hope Ron Paul doesn't become president - our military supply line will dry up.

Should we ask the guy 4th from left if he's American too?
