I'm no huge Ream apologist but I think you can argue Green's Garden of Eden moment was a bit more... naked...
How/why did Green fall out of USMNT plans? He looked slow and out of shape against Peru and England, and was one of the worst 2.Bundesliga regular players last season, that's why.

I would love to see Green with the nats in the 8/10 hybrid role. No comment on the quality of 2.Liga, but 8 duels won is a pretty fantastic stat. Gotta think that a bottom-to-mid table BuLi club has their eyes on Green as a dirt-cheap midfield option.
I’m not a Green fan but he may be a better CM option than Bradley or Trapp. Like those guys he can’t tackle but at least he can run a bit.
This is just silly. Green plays a different position than Bradley/Trapp in a weaker league. That said I think he's probably earned a shot to try out for the other #8/10 opposite McKennie. If he truly has started playing both ways he might be finally be a better option than Llegget and Roldan.
Yup, he has certainly earned another look, given the poor options we have at that spot at the moment. Otherwise, just glad Julian has found a good spot and is playing well.
I'm fine with Roldan playing for now, because seeing how many games he can go without an international goal or assist is more interesting than actually watching the US play. He's at 18, for the record.
