A few years back we had a Bofo Bautista vs Jesus Mendoza thread. The point was to see which player would have more impact through the years. And it has been fun watching the above mentioned players progress.

Sadly recent comparison threads are boderline retarded :: Marquez vs Salcido and Nery vs Vela. Thus, I bring to you the newest in player challanges.

Club Americas Mosqueda and Atlantes Hobbit Bermudez. Both players are short in stature, they both have excellent ball dribling skills, and they have shown to be able to control the midfield.

So which of the mini midfielders will shine with the TriColor???

    Head to head ::

Bermudez is the shortes of the two, he is also two years younger. However in six games played this season he has scored twice and assisted as many times.

Mosqueda plays for the bigger club (America) where there is more pressure to performe. In eight games this season he has recorded two assists, no goals.

Hard to choose. One plays in a team with alot of pressure, the other doesn't. For one thing im glad that Atlante finally brought up a 'canterano' with 'seleccion worthy' conditions.

    Both of them great players!
I'd go for Bermudez just because he is younger, and has been a key player for Atlante, scored 2 goals already! yet, Mosqueda has acomplished more due to more playing time and have to give him a lot of credit for hearning a place in a team crowded with foreingers.

    Apenas lleva 3 juegos Bermudez.
El More ya lleva temporada y media pero es muy irregular.

Por lo que he visto esta temporada es mas regular el Hobbit, pero como dije, solo lleva 3 juegos.

bwaaa haaa haaa this is what came up when i looked up Hobbit...

Hobbits are a race from J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle-earth universe which first appears in the book The Hobbit. They also play a major role in The Lord of the Rings. An imaginary being similar to a person but smaller and with hairy feet

this isnt really what they mean by calling him that name is it?

Mosqueda is better and taller than Bermudez, but honestly I don't think neither of them is gonna do anything with the national team, I think of them as the newer versions of luis perez.....

Hands down Mosqueda. Scores one of the best goals of the Apertura on his debut and has been kicking ass ever since.

That's the whole point though, to just take a guess and see how our opinions pan out over the next several years. It's good for a laugh eventually.

Currently I'd give the edge to Mosqueda but since the poll is about future potential I think Bermudez has got more in him in the long run.

This thread isn't even about Guardado, and like you mentioned he isn't even a striker so why compare him to them? and u also said he was younger than both of them and that's NEGATIVE.
Mosqueda is 21 I think as well.

    WTF?

noobs, I just dont even know what to say. Maybe its best just to ignore them.

Mosqueda has been struggling the past couple of weeks, seems like he needs some rest. I cant say Ive seen an Atlante game where this Hobbit guy stands out. I dont think the height issue will affect them much in their NT prospects. Mexican players, however small, are hardly pushed around on the international stage. Even against the traditionaly tall Germans in 98 height wasnt an issue. I know More for a fact is very good on the ball and keeps defenders on his back and boxes them out well.
