Yeah, I like him even though he's got some flaws. A few years ago, just because he was in Argentina, we'd be begging for this guy to start for Colombia tomorrow. Times sure have improved...

I wonder though. Most of the current crop will still be around for the next qualifiers, albeit on their last legs. I expect Falcao and Bacca would probably still be doing OK for themselves. Muriel, Zapata, and Borja, if they stay in form, will be in their primes.

Would you kick out Falcao and Bacca, knowing they likely wouldn't make it through the entire cycle, even though they could still offer a bit? Or do you start rebuilding ASAP?

I would call younger strikers up and let them learn and play together with the big guys.
We need to learn from the errors we made in the past when we had to replace the Pibe and Asprilla generation, that costed us 3 WC participations.

We need to qualify. Falcao and Bacca can hopefully win us this World Cup, the next copa america and the confederations cup...

I can't see them both in Qatar. Falcao maybe but def not as our main option up top

I would phase out Bacca to bring in more youth but would definitely keep Falcao for his leadership

y eso que si ves el resumen la jugada, la empieza Otero desde el medio campo, se saca a su defensa y le da el paso perfecto a Melano. Otero después con velocidad y posición se gana el gol... o sea no fue aun gol de napa.... muy bien por Otero.

Honestly, he's very Pabon-like in his play. The kid is potent; he's dangerous as hell in the final 3rd.

He's also a dude who looks more at his feet than the field. Not the kind of player I'd want on my team if I had the option, just how Pekerman banished Pabon from the NT..
