A point and it sounded (audio only) like Jozy played ok.

A road point against another relegation contender is a good point. Hull wouldn't have gone to the last day to avoid relegation last year with a few more points like this.

Yeah a point is better than nothing and it certainly could have been nothing with the way they were getting bombarded.

anyone hear Phil yelling "move Jozy, MOVE!" near the end of the game when Jozy took the touch near the Hull bench and flicked it on past the defender but Hennessy came out of his box to boot it away?

didn't seem like Jozy did well chasing that ball down

Overall I think Hull is happy to take a point from Wolves on the road. Hopefully Jozy will replace Folan within the next couple of matches. Sure the guy works hard but I don't see him scoring more than 5 goals this season. Kind of reminds me of Conor Casey except Casey plays in MLS and is able to bag a bunch of goals.

Jozy was brought on too late and by that point Hull was hanging on for a point and hesitant to put numbers forward.

I can't wait to see Jozy, Ghilas, Hunt, and Geo all clicking at the same time. That'll be the goal scoring that could keep Hull City in the Premierl league.

Getting points on the road is valuable.

Jozy is NOT going to score too many goals with Hull. Don't get your hopes up.

If Hull has Christiano Ronaldo, he will probably score about 5 goals.

Now you can see why a striker like Negredo doesn't want to go to Hull. He would have ruined his career if he did.

Jozy looks like more dangerous than Folan. He will beat him out once he is fit. Folan is useless. He doesn't even come close to looking dangerous. The only way Folan would "soften up defense" is if he kicks them in the groin. He gets pushed very far out of position on all headers.

But Altidor is not going to do jack playing by himself as a lone striker. Hull has no number forward at all. He was surronded by 3 defenders the whole time.

You can also see why they play 4-5-1. Hull has no production from central midfield. They are slow, don't win balls, and give them away. Hull's only trick is crosses from Hunt or Giovanni. It won't take long for other teams to figure that out.

Good result for hull escaping with a draw, Wolves outshot hull 24-5 and just couldn't finish.

Jozy had good showing other than he dint get the ball much if he would of started the match he could of had more chances of getting a goal when Hull looked alive

Pretty much. And big teams are going to completely slaughter Hull (ie Tottenham's 5-1 drubbing 2 matches ago) because none of thier center midfielder can hold onto the ball. And just about the entire team has an extremely difficult time stringing together 2-3 quality passes. They're a bunch of turnover machines.

and then when the US doesnt sign a "big foreign name" the threads will start popping up almost immediately

They could really use Bullard back.

I was going to say the same thing! Bullard has to be the most over-rated player in the EPL. Bullard is where promising moves go to die.

best signing of the year so far has to be Hunt. Pound for pound anyway.

Jozy should watch and learn from him. I doubt anyone in the EPL works harder than he does on the pitch.

Without multiple, bionic anti-virus protection, that's a smart decision. Far too many Chinese sites (private and public alike) are loaded with dangerous junk. :(

He's a good player for a relegation battler though. He'll score some goals and get some assists and maybe that'll be enough to keep them up. It worked for Fulham 2 seasons ago.

Um, Jozy's work rate has never been his problem. The reason Jozy gets tired later in the game is because he is running like a mad man so much.

Hunt has been their best signing though. He is the type of dynamo that a relegation fighter need.
