that would be slightly worse. If he does well I think best thing that could happen is him getting called up for the national team but I no longer have too many high hopes for his career.

He looks like ********ing clown. He's pretty much a micro-futbol player with enough stamina to last around 70 minutes. Hopefully River helps him fix some of his quirks.

I like Salazar and I think that he has the potential to be an NT player, also Carrascal, can't say the same about the rest.

Your opinion. I Saw you very excited about Huérfano Who in my opinion is very inferior to Salazar. He need to make better decisions when attacking but has a lot of decent traits that if polished can make him very dangerous.

I never heard the guy speak before a couple days ago. Took a look at his instagram out of curiosity and, yes, I can confirm that he seems pretty clownlike.

Knowing the kind of guy Quintero was until very recently...I worry a bit. But it seems Gallardo knows what he's doing when it comes to dealing with egos and motivation

I'M just talking about his appearance, he looks like a clown. And although very talented he is equally selfish. As I said, hopefully Gallardo and River helps him improve, he has shown brilliance occasionally, we need to see that shit at least 5 games every Month.

Got more minutes in reserves yesterday..

"Al igual que el jueves pasado, Carrascal jugo un aceptable/discreto partido en reserva. Muesta calidad con la pelota en los pies, pero no se destaca aun en la cancha mas que por algun que otro lujo."

Given Gallardo's recent words, Carrascal made this list because Juanfer is out. It sounded like it would've been awhile before he was adjusted.

I wish him luck. The kid needs a Gallardo in his life, just like Juanfer did. Right now, his main competition is De la Cruz, who really hasn't been that impressive.

He debuted today. Last ten minutes against Independiente.

He didn't get too many touches, but he had a decent shot on goal that rebounded and wound up being scored by Pratto.

Gallardo is taking it slow with him, but hopefully this opened the door.

Gallardo seems to be prioritizing Nico de la Cruz over Carrascal (probably because the Uruguayan has been waiting for a chance for longer). The only reason Jorge was given a chance today was because De la Cruz’s grandma passed during the week and in turn he was given some time off.

I don’t know how much time he’ll get from here on since there isn’t much left to play this half of the season (only 2 league games remain).

Maybe he’ll get some minutes in our Copa Argentina match since we’re playing a Primera D team. The other option is playing him in the new Copa de la Superliga, although Gallardo may still use starters in that since we won’t be playing much else during those two months other than a few Libertadores group games.

Really Carrascal’s best bet is killing it during the upcoming pre-season and earning himself a spot as one of the primary alternatives from there on, considering how we’ll likely have a very busy schedule during the second half of the year

Yes. He is not the same type of player but can still add some creativity in a different style. Hopefully he can fill in at least as a super sub.

Gallardo is seriously considering playing subs on Sunday vs Tigre to give the starters some rest ahead of the next crucial copa match, so it appears Carrascal may finally have the opportunity to start
