So he ended off the last semester as the starter; this was from his last match. He gets an assist and he played the full 90. Lots of things to work on in his game, but he's undeniably talented. The Ukrainian season restarts next weekend.
Scored his second goal of the season. Honestly, he's playing pretty well. You can see the goal around 11:30
The guy has always looked super skillful, things looked promising for him up until he got injured in Spain. Is he on loan? If not hopefully he makes a jump to a better league soon.
2nd division spain or a regulation zone 1st div team would be better. Sevilla owns him and he was on their B team. NO way will he get any minutes better to spend 1-2 years on loan to get ready so he can replace Banega in the future instead of just eating bench for a few years
Scored a PK today. That brings him to 6 goals for the season. I'm excited to see where he'll be next season.
20 yo. I'm gonna start a campaign to get him to another Spanish team, his talent shouldn't be wasted in Ukraine.
Que golazooo... Those eastern European league will either toughen you up (mentally and physically) or break you down. Good to see the kid is excelling.
I don't think he will go unnoticed. I feel like Sevilla must have sent him to Ukraine to keep this kid off the radar so they can keep him. You just don't see a 20 y/o with that type of skill and confidence on the ball stay in a league like Ukraine very long. I haven't seen a ton of him but the way he faints and dribbles is very rare, not a ton of guys who have that ability, hopefully he keeps working and stays humble and gets another loan to a bigger league next year (maybe Netherlands or La Liga B)
@Baal88 , what do you know about the other 2 Colombians in the same club: Yhonatan Bedoya (21) pass belongs to RD Espanyol and Mauricio Cortes (21). Interesting that this Ukraine club has 3 young Colombians.
Yhonatan Bedoya is an attacking midfielder, he played for La Mazzia, which is an amateur football club here in Medellín, during a tournament in Spain he caught the eye of several Spanish clubs and Espanyol got him. He played some games in the B team but unfortunately he lacks athletic abilities. Nonetheless he is quite awesome at passing an dribbling. I think he is 22 years old. Mauricio Cortés was a U20 international for us that played for DIM but the idiotic bastard of Zubeldia didn't allow him to go to the South American championship because he thought he was going to get minutes. It didn't happen. He was loaned to La Equidad the second semester but didn't have a good performance. It's a shame, because 2 years ago he was very important for DIM, scoring around 5 or 6 goals; he is a very fast and talented winger or striker. He is 21 years old. They are in Karpaty because they are managed by the same agency, Go Pro Sport.
