Silicon Valley and China are going to dominate your precious auto industry in short order with the disruptive shift to autonomous electric vehicles. I'll naturally feel badly for the workers and drivers who are displaced, but not for the damage it does to your silly, smug sense of nationalism that seemingly defines your self worth. :)

As for Jonathan, he'll improve his chances for success if he commits to hard work. Just like any prospect would, German, American or otheriwise!

Kids today aren't so bad. I'm, like, twice your age. Every generation says this about the following generation. It's BS.

Jonathan and Hertha II allowed 2 goals against but still managed a 2 - 2 draw at Nordhausen in Regionalliga (Nordost) Hertha undefeated in their last 5 are in 4th place but will not catch the leaders or be promoted

    I def concur

The March for Life. The womens rights movement. Black Lives matter. Not to I mention tons of other. Young people are motivated to change the world. To embrace our connections rather than expand our differences.

    Maybe we can make it.

I was at the March in Boston yesterday. VERY inspiring to see high school and college kids determined. I am off to a shooting club in 10 minutes but gun safety is good for everyone!

seems like Hertha's #1, Jarstein is headed towards an extension to 2021.

does it really affect him? He's their no.3

His best bet is another year as no.3 and playing for reserve or youth squad and then hoping for a loan to a 2 Bundesliga club. He's a few years away from Bundesliga no.1 but he has time.

Wasn't it said that there is no fixed #3? and you still have guys from the youth levels as well as 2 keepers that are currently on loan to lower divisions. And isn't Jonathan's contract only until Summer 2019?

I don't really recall the how it goes. But aren't you not allowed to loan out a player in his last season of his contract. If that's the case then he has to renew to even be loaned out.

Oh my mistake. I thought he was signed for a few years. And I was thinking it was 2021.

seems like next season's keepers are Jarstein, Kraft, Klinsmann and Smarsch.
while the 2 keepers currently on loan, are headed towards an extension and another year on loan to get more experience at a higher level.

Kraft got injured so won't make the squad to face Augsburg, backup keeper is U19 Smarsch. Really showing that there is no fixed 3rd keeper.

seems like Klinsmann hasn't played in over a month too. Doesn't seem to be injured either.

Must be extremely tough being a youth/reserve squad keeper. He'll get small chances but will take some time I'm sure.

It's probably because he's got too much American in him.

Anyone know if he's seen much playing time in the last month? And if so, at what level?

has not played since March 25 which is now 2 months ago.

Other players were playing in the Reserve main keeper spot and bench over that period of time.

that could be the answer, it is weird that he would be dropped all of a sudden.

still only has 1 year left on his contract, wonder if they extend or not?
