I guess we should rename this thread, since he has signed. @bungadiri Jonathan Klinsmann at Hertha Berlin
@bungadiri Don't you think it's really a very exciting thread title? A little bit ahead of the rest right now?
An article from yesterday on the goalkeeper situation at Hertha: Jarstein will be the number one; Kraft will be the number two and play in the Europa League; Klinsmann will be assigned to the U-23s (Regionalliga) and in time could move up to the first team. That's a dead link, http://www.uefa.com/uefaeuropaleague/season=2018/clubs/club=5451/squad/index.html Jonathan made the squad.
Congrats to the young man. He's grown and can now be developed into a competent professional. Now he will begin his long training period with the club that might not bear us fruit on the national team for 5 years or longer but I hope the best for him and hope that by that time old wounds are healed and he can be the finishing touch on a team that is capable of making a deep run in a world cup. He got his start. It's up to him now.

Has Jonathan been playing regularly with the u-23s? Surprised he gets on the bench for this match. Good sign they are pleased with him.
Interesting. Not hoping for an injury but that would mean he was in which would be an amazing opportunity for him. Wouldn't that be hilarious, if this kid becomes our next decade long keeper after I absolutely roasted him for his LD comment. Wow the world is strange.

I find these rankings highly questionable.. Klinsmann at 53? He's at a BL club and was just our U-20 starter, and Jesse Gonzalez at 12 is shocking
