That he's looking good in what is by far the best Scandinavian league is promising. He may be the guy on the other side of Puli after all. Yay.

    Why not play all 3?

    ————-Weah————-
    Amon——————Pulisic

That would be hell of an attack and fun to watch!

It would, lots of speed. I doubt we’ll be able to threaten Brazil much, but I’d like to think that front 3 would give Mexico fits.

Scoring is higher than assisting in the hierarchy of desirable actions.

Because I still think Sargent is the 9 going forward.

That speed could give Brazil problems on the counter which is how we would have to play them. We’re not going to be able to pass around a team like that.

I see Weah more as a striker for us.

The problem is not attack this cycle. The problem is central defense and goalkeeping. A total reverse from our old ways.

I'll give you goalkeeping. I think our back 4 is the deepest we ever had. I think our weakness is not having a 6 that can play at the international level.

Yedlin and Robinson look strong as our outside backs. At center-back, we still have JAB and Miazga playing regularly. CCV will pan out in the long-run, even if he isn't quite Spurs quality. And then EPB and some MLS guys as possible options down the road.

    GK looks ugly though.

And don't forget Richards at Bayern. We should have a better idea within the year.

McKennie and Adams will likely anchor the CM spots going forward. Durkin is a true 6 maturing at this point.

I have my doubts Adam can play inside. I always thought his destiny was at LB but now that spot is taken.

What are these doubts based on? Surely not his current club form?

You are definitely living in the past. Watch some current games, with an open mind.

he's been one of MLS best CM the last few months. he's on the right development path working on his weaker areas. very impressive TEENAGER.

He may end up being what you hope for but I'm going with what the player is at this moment. Yes, he does well in MLS but once he is out of MLS is less than stellar, at this point. I remember when the Mexican team spun him around for the score.

Jaylin Lindsey also looks like he could contribute as an outside back in the future. It looks like EPB will likely play CB at club level but he may also be able to play as a 6 for us.

The player is "at this moment" one of the best defensive midfielders in MLS. The game you cite happened four months ago.

Speaking of CCL, it's interesting that you choose to focus on the mistake versus Chivas, but not the counterattack he sprinted the length of the pitch to finish versus Xolos:

Not exactly indicative of someone who lacks the quality to compete outside MLS.

I mean, if you really wanted to (all fun and games) make Pulisic the 10 and move Weah wide.
