Apparently Johnson playing LB and Williams playing CM.

I see him playing LB. He is not getting forward much (i cant tell if he is, bad stream)

If that sticks, it would be very good news for the USMNT, allows Shea to stay and Dempsey stuck in as 2nd striker.

Also if DW can keep some clean sheets he will be heir-apparent to Dreds.

I think it was FJ who sent in a back post free kick, it was headed back across, but no one was there to pounce.

I saw him get forward once or twice and he has good technique on the ball.

well, shoot, both williams and FJ both beat for the goal. DW let the man get free in the middle and FJ was a bit out of position and man got on the cross for the finish.

Williams also collected a yellow for a foul.

HT: Mlapa managed to equalize for Hoffenheim. Assist by Salihovic.

Hoffenheim 2-2 against Augsburg now. Hoffenheim conceded another goal when Johnson and Starke impeded each other on a corner and Beck didn't jump hgih enough. Starke looking shaky.

From what I gather, he's member of the reserve/youth squad. So he won't be making any bench appearances any time soon.

???? He was on the bench last week and has been consistently practising with the first team as well as getting praise from Stanislawski.

And no, he wasn't on the bench this week.

NOt sure if anybody has seen this but ESPN now has a cool little tool called starting formation and average formation.

It's handy for somebody like me who didn't see the game but now I can tell that Danny Williams played in front of the back four and Johnson was at left back.
