This kid is inching his way up my best uncapped Americans list.

Right now, I have Russell Canouse atop it and Romain Gall and Emmanuel Sabbi right behind him but Sonora is probably 4th and can move up with more playing time.

The US has loads of two-way mids but not a lot of playmakers so I'm hoping Joel can blossom into one.

Nope. All three subs used. Talleres is losing 2 - 0.

Down 0-2 at the half to league leaders Racing. I expect to see Sonora in the 2nd half

    Interview:

    http://ar.marca.com/claro/futbol/talleres/2019/01/21/5c46291eca474146568b457c.html

"I think this year I have more confidence in myself ," Soñora said in an interview with MARCA Claro Argentina . "I trust that I will have more opportunities, I believe that all the work I have done in training will give results and I will play more.

Soraya says that when it was time to debut, he felt prepared and calm: "I always had the dream of playing in the First Division, and when I entered the court I did not feel nervous, I was prepared, it was very important for me and I fulfilled my dream, "he added.

A few weeks ago it was rumored that the 22-year-old was in the orbit of several teams in Major League Soccer (MLS). Soñora confirms that there was interest but in the end the most important thing for him was to continue in workshops.
