My vintage 2002-03 through 2004-05 Arsenal jerseys all have the felt O2 logo before Nike changed it to the screenprint type of sponsor logoing for the 05-06 season (and I assume the vinyl screenprint was also used for the "Fly Emirates" slogan on those from 06-07 -date too).

 

Here's a picture of Pod and Santi wearing the special X-mas kits they'll be sporting against Chelsea.

Just on that last post - I don't have any more information in terms of validity.

 

I liked the purple/black striped alternates that Nike put out last season. Puma should keep the color scheme.

 

Happy to report that Santa came through and I wore this proudly for yesterday's match.

 

I liked that one as well. I despised that jockey away kit from a few years ago though. Still burns my eyes.

 

I loved the colors of that. The stupid jockey pattern ruined it. If they had the traditional kit (contrasting sleeves and torso or just contrasting shorts/shirt), it would have been excellent.

 

Arsenal should have the following colors/designs for their kits:

Home: Traditional Red with white sleeves.
Away: Yellow and blue.
Third: Purple & black with white shorts and socks.

 

I can't believe anyone bought that awful purple and black kit. Hideous.

 

I'm a traditionalist so I COMPLETELY AGREE with Home & Away. Third kit, I could care less, since it's generally rarely used... unless of course it's really really silly looking.

 

I only talk about a third kit because I can recall a few years ago in the CL when Arsenal faced Roma. Roma had this CL kit that was ala Blackburn (Red/Yellow) but black shorts/socks. Arsenal that season had this away kit:



but they had to wear that shirt with their home white/red socks and shorts. Very weird looking.

 

Wow, what a bad idea! Has there ever been a successful team with brown uniforms. I can only think of the Cleveland Browns and the old San Diego Padres' "Burger King" unis.

 

Tottnumb have worn brown kits in the past.

 

Also: Doesn't St. Pauli in Germany wear a brown kit? Either 1st choice or away.

1) I bought that shirt.
2) With long sleeves.
3) With Sylvain Wiltord's name and number.

Puma released their new kit catalog. The 2nd set of kits looks a lot like what has been rumored for next years Arsenal Kit
