Final UCL Group Match with qualification for next rounds on the line. Salzburg wins and they're in. Liverpool makes it with a draw. Salzburg gave Liverpool hell on the road, and this is at home. Should be a fun one!

Starts at 12:55 EST and will be airing on TNT.

Big save early by Salzburg, after their defender bottled a clearance on a ball in the air.

This after Liverpool withstood an avalanche of high press that resulted in multiple good chances for Salzburg.

    Exciting start, as expected.

Handball by Liverpool!, stopping a possible goal, after a well-worked move with quick interplay and poise on the final cutback for a shot from Salzburg. Ref and VAR missed w/ the keeper right beside. Should have been a penalty.

Another close one. Going up 1 before half would be nice

That was a rousing, even half, at a high pace, w/ many chances on both sides. Has played more like a 2-2 than a nil-nil. Only decisive winner though has been the goal line gods.

Marsch and his men definitely not shaming themselves. Breaking w/ quickness and efficiency, while holding the ball up higher for stints when they can press their lines up. Only need a little more genius at the end and luck. As aforementioned, they were hard done not to earn a penalty. Not that Liverpool didn't miss a great chance.

love the tempo salzburg plays at. throwing the ball back in like your life relies on it is the way more teams should do it

Yup, they need to grab one before Salah eventually finds the back of the net

keita with the calm header. salzburg central defender really over-committed there

You gotta clear that. It's been Salzburg's weakness so far. They've been left open at the back w/ their aggressive style, but the emergency defending should have been better. Had been bailed out by the keeper and Pool up until that. 0-1 now. Need 2 at least to rescue.

So much for that. How did he fit that inside the post? There was about 2 degrees of an angle.

Now it's pretty dire for Salzburg.
