Got his first start after getting benched and has been pretty bad.

 

He was man of the match in the first half. Dallas got run over all game long and Im not sure the score is an indictement of Jesse but it also isn't very flattering.

He lost his starting spot because he joined the NT for a set of games right around the time the season was starting.

Highlights from the game.

Makes a great reflex save on the first goal but NY still tucks it away (highlights don't show the actual save during the scrum)

The second goal is the only one where you could argue he could've done better due to the poor clearance.

Other than that, NY went in dry all game long, really could've been a lot worse.

 

Apparently he played last Wednesday against Real Esteli. Good to hear he's still there. Does he still play at league games?

 

Apparently not. He was on the bench yesterday against Portland.

 

Gonzalez earned the starting spot last season after taking advantage of a dip in form from the other goalkeeper. This season, he missed crucial time at the start of the season to go with the U23s to Portugal and is now the substitute.

 

He was injured as well, if I'm not wrong.
