The olympics is not a "cap-tying" competition - it's not even a FIFA competition.... hence the lack of use of real national program crests and uniforms.

It is considered a FIFA youth competition and means U23 players are provisionally cap-tied when they play in the tournament or its qualification. IOC rules limit the use of crests on uniforms. All Olympic events are held under the general auspices of the international sanctioning bodies.

The women's competition is cap-tying, since it is a full-blown competition.

Yes.. after playing in the Olympics you can use your one-time switch to play for another country (provided you were eligible for that country before playing in your first official youth game).

The Olympics, U-20 WC, U-17 WC or the qualifying for any of these tournaments - it's all the same same for cap-tying purposes.

Off highlights, he was outstanding, basically played right wing, got into the crossing positions. Had Selke not muffed a handful of sitters, it really would have gotten ugly.

It was 10-0. If that's not ugly, would exactly would ugly qualify as? 20-0?

Toljan scored Hoffenheim's second and assisted on the fourth in Hoffenheim's 4-0 home win over FC Köln yestedary.

    Highlights

He picked up a yellow in the 71st minute and was beaten at the back post on a missed attempt early in the highlight package. This was his first league start since October 15th though he made two sub appearances in that interval.

I don't speak German, but there appear to be some headlines/articles with Toljan appearing with the word "Bayern." It appears he's being linked with a move to Munich. I have no idea about the credibility of the sites. Would not be too surprising.

Just won the U21 Euro with Germany as a starter on the rightback position. Had an excellent game in the final against Spain.
