I was listening to one of the top british sports journalist in that region being interviewed on XM and I learned quite a bit about Bournemouth from that interview. Part of their achilles heel was definitely that DFM position last season which is why they're betting big on Lerma. They had a ton of last minute wins/ties that helped them keep their flight but something has to change. Anyhow, the biggest bright spot about Bournemouth is apparently their DT. He is a highly coveted DT (one of the best paid at that) who is loved in Bournemouth and nothing happens without his Ok. Lerma is his a huge piece of his project which will allow his forwards to be much more offensive than he was last season.
@Baal88 you were right about all this. This move makes no difference to me. BREAKING: Bournemouth have agreed a club-record £25m fee with Levante for Colombia midfielder Jefferson Lerma. He will travel to England for a medical this weekend. #SSN pic.twitter.com/zdpFzJylpI— Sky Sports News (@SkySportsNews) August 4, 2018
The coach has done a good job without any big stars and built them from the ground up. He doesn't coach the usual English style, his teams play good attacking soccer and move the ball nicely. Lerma will really help them, they didn't have great cover in front of their defense, and he'll get to play with the ball. Should be a good place for him in his position, will have lots of responsibility and will get showcased on a bigger stage then Levante.
Yup. It was bound to happen. It's not like Levante needed the money or anything, it happened because Lerma wanted to play in the Premier League. And the negotiations never broke down, Bournemouth wanted him, Lerma wanted to play there, but Levante would only sell for the right price. Is he worth 30 million euro? Definitely not. But the market has gone insane and Lerma and Levante took advantage of it.

yeah first time I saw it was in FIFA and I could have sworn that they couldn't license the cup so they gave it a fake name but its actually "Carabao" which I believe is some sort of energy drink in the UK. They change the name every few years due to sponsorship reasons.
