Sorry all, I gotta stay up on this thread. Working with some JC folks to form a supporters group to make some trips up to KC for home games (car pool for JC and Columbia Supporters..even some folks from ST. Louis that made the home opener with me!) and set up a standard watch party location in JC. Pretty sure it will be the new Pfenners (old mikes corner pocket location). Stay tuned for more info as I hope to have it all sorted by the end of this week.
I might be interested in carpooling from Columbia for many Saturday games. Also, do your St. Louis friends have a location for watching there? I have a few weekends that I'll be in that area, and would like to watch somewhere.
That's excellent news. Haven't had the chance to go there yet, but it seemed like a pretty nice place.
Went to Pfenny's Sunday. Seem to be open to showing KC games. You just have to ask. So if anyone lives in JC and don't want to trek to Columbia. It's a pretty good option.
I might be in JC On the 22nd. Is there anywhere to watch the game there? Might have time to drive up to Columbia but I doubt it. EDIT: Actually, according to Google the trip is only 40 minutes, so I'm pretty sure I could make it to McNally's in Columbia if that's what you folks have been doing. Is there a regular group there?
McNally's has shown every game I believe. I haven't checked in with Jay or Colin in a bit but I need to.
They're good to go at McNallys. Could be anywhere from 5-20 ppl there, tough to say. If you would, be friendly and introduce yourselves around if you make it. A lot of them are talking about coming up for a playoff game, if we get one at home.
Is anyone going to be at McNally's tonight? I work two blocks from there and I may stop by after work if there will be other people there!
